“Ran Skete off the gram,” schreef Ye. “Tell your mother I changed your name for life.” Maar hoeveel credit Ye ook wil daarvoor, hij krijgt het niet. Een bron dichtbij Pete zegt dat dat niet de reden is.
“Pete deleted his IG because immediately after his first post, he started receiving a flood of messages, both positive and negative, reminding him why he didn’t want social media to begin with,” zegt de bron. Voordat hij zijn pagina verwijderde, deelde Pete een link naar een video van Robert De Niro als Ruper Pupkin in The King of Comedy uit 1981. “Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime.”
Ye’s pogingen om Kim terug te krijgen hebben niet gewerkt. “I very much desire to be divorced,” blijft Kim’s standpunt in officiële documenten. “Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress.”
