“I would ask forgiveness because I didn’t pay attention to the question,” zei Lil Wayne. In een interview met Marcellus Wiley werd hem gevraagd naar wie hij de beste rapper vindt. “That thing in rap, that only thing that only we know in rap, he has that. He’s the Tom Brady of that.”
Niet lang geleden gaf hij de GOAT status nog aan Missy Elliott. In mei benoemde hij zijn top 5 rappers en stond de ‘Get Ur Freak On’ lady aan de top. “For me, it’s always going to be first Missy Elliott,” zei hij destijds in een podcast van FOX Sports.
