Kanye West sprak vorige week op de Oxford University. Daar zei hij tegen de studenten: “I understand that I’m a servant. And with my voice, with my ability to build relationships with amazing people, speak to amazing people. Call Elon Musk out of the blue, or call Obama out of the blue…he calls the home phone, by the way.”
Dat was nieuws voor Obama. De Amerikaanse president was donderdag te gast bij ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ en daar zei hij dat Kanye West zijn telefoonnummer niet heeft.
Kanye ontmoette Obama toen hij nog senator was. “He was very soft-spoken, very gracious. He was a young guy, hadn’t quite come into his own.” Zes maanden geleden ontmoetten ze elkaar weer, maar daar zijn geen telefoonnummers uitgewisseld. “I love his music, he’s incredibly creative. I don’t think I’ve got his home number,” aldus Obama.
