Terwijl ze geld proberen binnen te halen via Kickstarter voor hun achtste album, dropt De La Soul een nieuwe track met Nas: ‘God It’. De door G-Force geproduceerde track zal echter niet op het album verschijnen.
“While busy at work, we also like to play,” zegt De La Soul. “This song is not the new album, but an indication of good music to come.”
Met nog 11 dagen te gaan, staat de teller al op 470.000 dollar. Met een wens van 110.000 dollar is die ruimschoots behaald.
