Het nieuwe album ‘X’ van Chris Brown heeft eindelijk een releasedate. In eerste instantie zou het album in juli al uitkomen, maar werd iedere keer uitgesteld. Nu komt het album op 19 november, zo laat Chris weten: “111913!”
‘X’ is de opvolger van Chris’ album ‘Fortune’ uit 2012. Singles zijn onder meer ‘Fine China’, ‘Don’t Think They Know’ en ‘Love More’ met Nicki Minaj. “I tried to stay away from the Euro beats, and not go totally pop,” zei hij eerder. “Instead, I wanted to take the Quincy Jones approach. The record pays homage to the Stevie Wonders, the Michael Jacksons, the Sam Cookes. I wanted to put that classic essence of R&B and soul with the new age of music now.”
