Cardi B verbreekt de stilte omtrent haar scheiding met Offset.
De WAP rapper ging live op Instagram en hield een toespraak over de scheidingspapieren die ze eerder in de week indiende. “Every single time that this guy has done something so crazy, so fu**ed up and it hits the media, I’m always crying, I’m always stressed out, I’m sad because I don’t like that type of shit,” aldus Cardi.
Volgens Cardi komt het niet door de eerdere berichten over vreemdgaan. “This time, I wasn’t crying. You want to know why? The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that shit that ever happened before. It’s not ’cause of cheating.”
Er waren geruchten dat Offset een baby zou hebben verwekt bij een andere vrouw. Ook die zijn niet waar. “I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole fu**ing complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bullshit.”
De reden is simpel: “I just got tired of f**king arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye-to-eye. When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave.”
Het koppel groeide uit elkaar. “I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man…sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments, of the build-ups. You get tired sometimes and before something bad happens, before you get left, before you get cheated on, sometimes you just wanna leave. What is so bad about that?”
