Alicia Keys is back. De R&B-zangeres heeft Khalid gestrikt voor haar nieuwe single ‘So Done’.
Het nummer is geschreven door Alicia, Khalid en Ludwig Göransson.
“Cause I’m so done / Fighting myself, going through hell / I’m living the way that I want,” zingt Alicia op het nummer. Voor ‘So Done’ is tegelijkertijd een clip uitgebracht.
“I’m so excited to share ‘So Done’ with the world. We call it a trance! The energy is inescapable!” zegt de zangeres. “Collaborating with Khalid on this one was very special. This song is about being done with changing yourself for the sake of others and letting go of any one else’s ideas of how your life should look.”
‘So Done’ is Alicia’s eerste release na ‘Perfect Way To Die’ in juni. Daarvoor bracht ze onder meer ‘Good Job’ en ‘Underdog’ al uit. Alicia’s zevende studioalbum ALICIA komt nog dit jaar uit.
