Kehlani is al aan het zweten en puffen voor haar bevalling, maar brengt op de valreep nog even een nieuwe single uit. Voor ‘Night Like This’ heeft ze de hulp ingeschakeld van Ty Dolla $ign.
‘Night Like This’ is de eerste single afkomstig van haar aankomende miixtape. “I love Ty. We’ve made songs and it just hasn’t come out because it hasn’t been the time,” zei ze een tijd geleden in een interview. “This was just the perfect time for us both to finally put something out.”
De mixtape komt uit in februari. “I’m not making no more pop songs on you hoes. I’m over it. You’re not getting any pop records from me, and if you do, just know it wasn’t my fault.”
In oktober maakte Kehlani bekend dat ze zwanger is.
